Oh China, you were so good to me!
So by now most of you know that I received the incredible blessing of heading to the other side of the world to do what I love the most, photography. The trip in itself was crazy and awesome all wrapped in one!
My dear friend and mentor, photographer Bob Metelus, offered me the opportunity to document the Dwyane Wade China tour. While we have worked together on a lot of projects and events in the past, this one by far surpassed my expectations. The work encompassed store visits, wine tastings, basketball games, and many other events, but in-between there was a ton of laughs, a few shenanigans, and overall an amazing time between friends! There’s so much I could say but I’ll just share some of my favorite highlights with you!
This was “work”… and that they did!
These were a few of my faves from the events! Now for some play time! 🙂
Boarding the train to our next destination: Zhengzhou
One of my favorite places that we visited was the Shaolin Temple, in the Henan Province. It was pouring down rain the entire time, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying every moment.
Beijing, China | The Great Wall of China
I was only winded half the time. lol It was quite a climb, but the views were completely worth it! I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. Once we reached the top we may have had a little photoshoot and drone party with umbrellas. It was epic. I guess you’ll have to take my word for it for now (till I can post the video!)
This trip was an incredible experience that I won’t soon forget! Doing what I love most in the world, photography, while capturing one of the greatest wonders in the world! I’d say it doesn’t get any better than that, but the adventures aren’t over! Stay tuned! 🙂
