Travel down the turnpike far enough South (below Miami and above Key Largo) and you will hit a lovable city called Homestead, Florida, which I have had the blessing to call home for the last 11 years. It’s in this area where you will find the farmlands, nurseries, and beautiful fields that are few and far between here in South Florida.
Not too far up the road from me sits a quaint coral cottage that turned out to be the perfect setting for Esteban and Kristy’s sweet vintage inspired sunset wedding. As you may recall from their engagement session, Kristy and her love for antiques and vintage furniture runs deep, and it set the tone for what was to be a beautifully styled outdoor wedding and a darling ceremony.
As guests arrived the first thing to greet them was a beautiful dresser adorned with wedding images of their parents and a verse from one of the most beautiful love letters ever written. One of my favorite things about this wedding was how she incorporated family heirlooms into almost every part of her decor. These details were a sweet sentiment making everything feel intimate and personal.
The day was full of so much light. It was overwhelmingly beautiful.Everything was glowing. But nothing quite brighter than these two.
It was definitely a night to remember.
